TheGlowAuraCo (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors from the United States, Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and everywhere else.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you use the Contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and message. We use it only to reply to you.
- Usage data. With Google Analytics (see below), we collect information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and referring website.
- Purchase information. Purchases are completed on third-party marketplaces (currently Gumroad, and in future Etsy or our own checkout). Those services collect your payment and billing details. We do not see or store your card number.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, pages visited, time on site, and device details. This data is processed by Google under its own Privacy Policy, and Google may transfer it to servers outside your country.
Where the law requires your consent (for example in the EEA, the UK, and some Canadian provinces), analytics cookies are only used if you accept them. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Email newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use Kit (kit.com) to store subscribers and send emails, so your email address is processed by Kit under its own Privacy Policy. We only send you the content you signed up for, such as calm home ideas and new printables. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time or ask us to delete your address by emailing theglowauraco@gmail.com.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies that keep the site working.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that measure site usage.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may be limited.
Fonts and third-party services
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and your IP address is shared with Google. Our journal and shop also link to third-party services such as Gumroad, Etsy, Instagram, and Pinterest. When you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for their practices.

How long we keep information
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your request. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and is not linked to your name or email address.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. This includes rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA in California and PIPEDA in Canada. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children’s privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the site and your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
